My Perspective

“Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations” -Unknown

Everybody has a story and unique experiences. Sometimes, these experiences lead to certain ways of thinking that, at one point, served a protective purpose but are now causing distress of their own. My goal as your counselor is to help you examine the thoughts and behaviors causing you distress, connect them to your story, and help you discover more beneficial ways of thinking.

I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel empowered to explore their challenges, build resilience, and pursue meaningful growth. I believe in the power of therapy to guide people through life and help them develop lasting tools for emotional well-being.

I am continually growing as a clinician and feel honored to do work that fosters healing, connection, and personal transformation. I know that reaching out for support can be one of the hardest steps, and I deeply respect the courage it takes to begin this process. If you have any questions or feel ready to take the next step, I encourage you to reach out.

For many of my clients, animals provide a calming presence that helps reduce anxiety, build trust, and create a greater sense of safety. Goose is my coworker who will likely be seen around the office or in sessions.

Let’s Connect!

Sometimes, the hardest part of counseling is simply getting started. Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, uncertain, or even overwhelming. But taking that first step is also a powerful act of courage and self-care.

Whether you're facing a specific challenge or just feeling stuck, know that you're not alone—and you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. I am available for any questions you might have about the counseling process.
